Songs To Serenade Me With Please

Every girl would like the man of her dreams to serenade her to win her over. I'm thinking 'A Lot Like Love' when Ashton Kutcher pitches up with a guitar and belts out Bon Jovi's 'I'll Be There For You'. Although if that situation were ever to happen we wouldn't get to choose the song, I know that, however, just in case, the following songs would be good for me.
  • The Wonder of You - Elvis Presley (there has to be an Elvis one on there)
  • Hello Again - Neil Diamond (again there has to be a Neil Diamond one in there)
  • I'll Be - Edwin McCain
  • Can't Fight This Feeling - REO Speedwagon
  • I'll Be There For You - Bon Jovi (watch the movie your'll understand)
  • Suddenly - Angry Anderson (super cheesy but would still be fab for any Neighbours fan)

And songs not to use....

  • Zoom - Fat Larry's Band
  • Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You - Glenn Medeiros
  • I'd Do Anything - Meatloaf
  • You Raise Me Up - Josh Grobin/Westlife (Westlife ruined it as per)

After making my list I couldn't resist googling to see if anyone else put a list together. I found this one....

  • I Can't Help Falling In Love - Elvis Presley (like I said there has to be one)
  • Everything I Do (I Do It For You) -Bryan Adams (no originality)
  • Said I Love You But I Lied - Michael Bolton
  • Hello - Lionel Richie (anyone who had seen the video couldn't take this seriously)
  • A Groovy Kind Of Love - Phil Collins
  • Lost In Love - Air Supply
  • I Swear - All For One
  • You Are Not Alone - Michael Jackson
  • Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You - Glenn Medeiros (!!!!!!!!!!!!)
  • I Just Called To Say I Love You - Steveie Wonder (much better Stevie songs than this)

Conclusion is that the cheesiest person in the world wrote this and mine is much better

Easter Hols

  • For Easter one of my best friends Emma Conway came out to Cyprus with her hubby Stephen. It was fab to see them and along with another Emma (Davies) we did some sight-seeing and spent a lot of time lying down on the beach. A lot of chips were also eaten and I put on 3lb - oops.
  • On Easter Monday with everything in the south being shut we went over the boarder to Famagusta which was very pretty with it's Venetian Palace ruins and the friendliest waiters in the world. We swung by Protaras on the way back for some beach action and dinner but the only place open was Pizza Hut where Stephen polished off a meal for 2 by himself (I helped by having a slice of garlic bread).
  • The week was a blur of singstar, sun, beach, eating out, movie watching and went far too quickly but will see them again in August in the UK. Can't wait.

  • Blog is not letting me load pics at the moment, will add some when it lets me
